Enter Reaper of Souls
Enter Reaper of Souls, the first expansion to Diablo 3. Reaper of Souls is clearly about bringing F-U-N back into Diablo 3, replacing, among other things, the grindy game play and overpriced,
hyper-inflated auction house. The auction house is removed. Playing through the story to raise a new character is an option,
not a requirement, now that Adventure Mode has been introduced.

Legendary items sprang
"This blade would have a visual connection to snakes and reptiles. Some of our most successful Legendary items sprang out of such humble beginnings. We start with a simple motif and asked ourselves,
‘What would I want out of a weapon in this style? What is the game fantasy of the player who wants this kind of item?'

Thunder victorious
Midwinter and Method raced each other for the first time in September during
Athene’s “The Siege”
live marathon event, and while Method came out of the
Throne of Thunder victorious,
the deciding factor may have come early on with
Midwinter’s slightly messy handling of Jin’rokh at the start of the race.

With 300 demo stations at their command, attendees will have the opportunity to
join the fight for Westmarch, seek fame and treasure in all-new Nephalem Rifts
(previously called Loot Runs), and journey through Adventure Mode, where the
world itself is your battlefield. All five of the original Diablo III classes
will be playable,
as well as the recently-unveiled Crusader, a fierce mid-range
melee warrior who wields punishing weapons (and an even more punishing arsenal
of spells and abilities).

over the Timeless Isle are powerful creatures
(many of which can be taken on
solo despite their imposing presence), chests filled with treasure, puzzles,
dynamic group events, and all sorts of other activities. Many different rewards
await, but for the purposes of gearing up quickly,

Sometimes you just have to go it alone
Damage: Sometimes you just have to go it alone. You'll melt the usual faces,
while handling a variety of mechanics including interrupting heals, chasing down
runners,
timing cooldowns, avoiding harmful mechanics, and more.
Healer: Four NPCs will join you to form a full party. It will take a special healing touch to keep your friends alive, as you work together to face the challenges of attacking enemies.
Choose Your own Adventure
Proving Grounds will be available in four different modes: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Endless. Each mode allows you the opportunity to test your mettle and learn a bit more about your role by putting you in the thick of a grouping experience. You’ll have to beat each one (beginning with Bronze) to take on the next mode. Once you’ve beaten Gold, you’ll unlock Endless and be truly prepared to astound and amaze your friends with your prowess.
In Endless,
you’ll push yourself to the limits and see just how long you can
survive as each wave of foes becomes more and more difficult to withstand. The
longer you survive Endless, the higher your score, and the system will track
your progress so you can see just how well you’ve done.
Choose to Endure
You’ll be able to reenter the Proving Grounds as much as you want as you work to improve your skills earn Achievements, and claim some bragging rights when you survive longer than any of your friends. It’s just a quick chat with the NPC, and you're quickly back in action.
